Fix YouTube’s ‘An error occurred, please try again later’ | Techdows this is a few years old, but has an update from March of this year that may be of assistance.Found the following, which may be of assistance: Please try again later" Error is a YouTube error, it is not a Flash Player error. Unless you're forcing YouTube to use Flash Player, or have added it to Compatibility View (in IE) it shouldn't be using Flash Player. I do not understand why it behaves this way because I have all Adobe plugins for Internet Explorer activated. When I click 'Allow', the page refreshes and I am asked again. Where are you downloading the Flash Player installer that forces the Norton installation? Also, YouTube has defaulted to using the HTML5 player quite some time ago. The problem is that whenever I visit a website that has content that needs the flash player in order to work, Internet Explorer asks me if it is okay to run the content. ![]() In addition, Norton is not a third-party product offered by Adobe. You can verify this by going to /flashplayer using Chrome and you'll get a message stating the same with no option to download Flash Player PPAPI. ![]() Chrome doesn't use the PPAPI Flash Player downloaded from /flashplayer. Flash Player is embedded in Chrome and all updates come from Google, not Adobe.
